Most Interesting Casinos In Las Vegas

If someone mentions the word casino what is the first thing to pop into your mind? Apart from huge amounts of cash, for many of us an image of Las Vegas immediately comes into view, with the big bright lights, the flashing signs, the insanely rich and the hopeful tourists. Las Vegas can make you or break you, and it’s only the very skilled (and very strong willed) who will leave with more money in their wallet than when they arrived.

But if you’re new to betting and casinos and just want to go to Las Vegas to see what all the fuss is about, how do you know which is the best place to go to?
If you’re not really interested in betting but just want to soak up the atmosphere and hang around the ‘beautiful people’ then the Hard Rock is the place to be. The atmosphere is less stressful than most of the other casinos and so it’s a great place to go to people watch, gamble a bit and not feel that you’re being forced to spend all your hard earned cash.

Some people say that you haven’t properly been to Las Vegas until you’ve seen the fountains at the Bellagio dance to Sinatra’s ‘Luck be a lady’. In fact the fountains are really the casino’s primary attraction as thousands of people gather outside the casino everyday to watch the fountains dance. And if you do actually make it inside the casino then you’re in for a surprise. Not only can you lose (or win) some money, you can also visit their art museum and walk round their botanical garden.

Caesars Palace, in the heart of the strip is possibly one of the most well known casinos/hotel is Vegas. The hotel rooms are huge with massive bathrooms and there are a huge amount of stores inside. The casino itself is pretty amazing too and the dealers are all ready to help explain the rules and help people out who are maybe new to the game or beginners. It’s definitely worth a trip to at least once in your lifetime.

If you are more interested in filling your stomach than your wallet then New York, New York is definitely the casino for you. Out of all the casinos on the strip this one has the best food and not only is it cheap but it doesn’t cost the world. The other exciting thing this hotel has is an indoor rollercoaster, but we suggest that you try this before sampling the hot hogs unless you want to see it again pretty soon.

There are obviously many other casinos to visit including the Stratosphere where you get an amazing view of Las Vegas from nearly 1000 feet and also visit the rides on the top of the casino (oh, and you could also get married there too if you wished) and Treasure Island, where you are very likely to bump into a pirate or two on your way to the poker room. Whatever you are after I am sure there is a casino just for you, it’s just a case of working your way along the strip.
